What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we use your data to run Eternity for you, and we never sell it.

Last updated

This page is a plain-language summary and is pending formal legal review. If anything here is unclear, email hello@studyeternity.com.

01Who is responsible

Eternity is operated by a team based in Amman, Jordan. For any privacy question or request, email hello@studyeternity.com.

02What we collect

  • Account details — your name, email address and password (stored securely hashed).
  • Profile information you choose to add — such as education history, test scores, study preferences and budget.
  • Activity in your workspace — saved items, lists, applications, documents and Sage conversations.
  • Messages you send us through the contact form.
  • Basic technical data needed to keep the service secure and working.

03How we use it

  • To provide your account and the features you use.
  • To personalise recommendations and Sage's answers to your profile.
  • To reply to your messages and send essential service notices.
  • To keep Eternity secure and to improve it.

04Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run Eternity (for example hosting and AI processing for Sage), under agreements that limit their use of it, or when required by law.

We do not share your profile with universities unless you explicitly choose to.

05Your rights

We aim to align with the GDPR, the CCPA and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), alongside applicable Jordanian law. Depending on where you live, you can ask to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct or update it;
  • delete your account and data;
  • receive a copy of your data in a portable format;
  • object to or restrict certain processing.

Email us to make a request. We'll respond within the time required by applicable law.

06Retention & security

We keep your data while your account is active and delete it when you ask us to, unless we need to keep something to meet a legal obligation. We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted connections and hashed passwords to protect it.

07Age requirement

Eternity accounts are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

08Cookies

We currently use only essential cookies. See our Cookies Policy.

09Changes

If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and the date above.
