Overview
Australian College of Christian Studies (ACCS) has its head office and ACCS teaching campus at Level 2, 29 George Street, Burwood, Sydney. The college developed from Emmaus Bible College, established in 1957, and Tabor College NSW, established in 1992. Tabor adopted the ACCS name in late 2014; the two colleges subsequently worked toward operating as a single entity from January 2017. ACCS identifies itself as the theological institution for the Christian Community Churches of Australia and as a TEQSA-registered and accredited Higher Education Provider. Its study areas include theology, ministry, counselling and education. The education listing includes the Bachelor of Education, Graduate Certificate of Education and Master of Teaching, with online or in-class delivery. Selected Australian-accredited courses are offered to international students onshore and offshore, with access to learning platforms, academic resources and support services. ACCS also identifies itself as a member institution of the Australian University College of Divinity delivering its undergraduate and postgraduate coursework awards in Korean. Student support includes academic and study-skills advice, pastoral care, chaplaincy, counselling, English-language support and student-visa guidance.
