Avans University of Applied Sciences (Avans Hogeschool) is a leading Dutch university of applied sciences located in the southern Netherlands, with campuses in Breda, 's-Hertogenbosch (Den Bosch), Tilburg, and Roosendaal. Formed by a merger in 2004, it has been ranked the best large university of applied sciences in the Netherlands for 10 consecutive years. Avans focuses on practice-based education and research, offering a broad range of HBO bachelor, associate degree, master, and continuing education programmes across disciplines including business, technology, health, arts, law, and social sciences.
