Overview

Bournemouth and Poole College is one of the largest further education and apprenticeships providers in the United Kingdom. Established in 1913, it serves thousands of learners across three campuses: the main Poole Campus (North Road, Poole), the Bournemouth Campus (Lansdowne, Meyrick Road), and The Fulcrum Centre (Vantage Way, Poole). The college offers a wide range of courses including vocational qualifications, apprenticeships, T Levels, Foundation Learning, and degree-level programmes such as Foundation Degrees, HNCs, HNDs, and BA/BSc (Hons) top-ups. Higher education programmes are validated by Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) and Bournemouth University. The college works closely with over 2,000 businesses nationally and locally to deliver industry-relevant education. In September 2026, the college opened the state-of-the-art Compass Building at the Bournemouth campus, featuring advanced teaching facilities, an Escoffier fine-dining restaurant, professional salons, and a sports suite. The college was rated 'Good' by Ofsted in its January 2025 inspection.
