Design Academy Eindhoven

Design Academy Eindhoven (DAE) is one of the world's leading design schools, recognised internationally for its forward-thinking approach and renowned professors and alumni. It is a University of the Arts specialising in Design and is part of the Dutch Universities of Applied Sciences (HBO). For over 70 years, DAE has trained aspiring designers to think freely and openly about what design can achieve, exploring design as an instrument of material, social, environmental and critical innovation. The Academy offers one four-year Bachelor programme and five two-year Master programmes (Critical Inquiry Lab, Geo-Design, Contextual Design, Social Design, Information Design), all taught in English. It is home to over 700 students from more than 40 countries. DAE is located in the heart of Eindhoven in the landmark de Witte Dame building (Emmasingel 14), occupying 10,000 m² of space. The school also has international research Professorships and stages annual exhibitions including the Graduation Show during Dutch Design Week.
