Džemal Bijedić University of Mostar

Džemal Bijedić University of Mostar (Univerzitet Džemal Bijedić u Mostaru) is the oldest and most prestigious public university in Herzegovina, founded on 11 February 1977 in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The university comprises 8 faculties, 5 interdisciplinary university studies, and 5 institutes, offering over 60 study programmes at Bachelor, Master, and PhD levels. With approximately 5,000 active students and 488 student and staff exchanges, the university is an active participant in the Erasmus+ programme and has bilateral agreements with 32 universities in 19 countries. It was accredited as a higher education institution in June 2015 and is the only fully integrated public higher education institution in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.
