ELISAVA Facultat de Disseny i Enginyeria de Barcelona is a private higher education institution specialising in design and engineering, located at La Rambla 30-32 in the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona, Spain. Founded in 1961, it is Spain's first design school with over 65 years of experience. ELISAVA offers bachelor's degrees in Design, Design and Innovation, and Industrial Design Engineering, as well as more than 50 master's and postgraduate programmes spanning graphic design, interior design, product design, branding, packaging, audiovisual, artificial intelligence, interaction design, business design, sustainability, and communication. The institution awards degrees through affiliated universities UVic-UCC (Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya) and Universitat Pompeu Fabra. All official programmes are verified and accredited by AQU Catalunya and registered in the Spanish RUCT (Registro de Universidades, Centros y Títulos). ELISAVA also maintains a second campus in the Legazpi district of Madrid. The institution welcomes more than 2,000 students each year from over 80 nationalities worldwide. Instruction is primarily in Spanish, with selected programmes offered in English.
