Freie Universität Berlin

Freie Universität Berlin (FU Berlin) is a public research university located in the Dahlem district of Berlin, Germany. It was founded in December 1948 and has since been guided by the values of truth, justice, and freedom. FU Berlin is one of the leading European research universities, recognized through Germany's Excellence Initiative as part of the Berlin University Alliance since 2019. The university offers more than 150 degree programs at Bachelor, Master, and doctoral levels across 15 faculties and central institutes, covering natural sciences, humanities, social sciences, law, economics, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, education, and more.
