HAN University of Applied Sciences

HAN University of Applied Sciences (Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen) is a publicly funded Dutch university of applied sciences (hogeschool) founded in 1996. It operates campuses in Arnhem (Ruitenberglaan, Papendallaan) and Nijmegen (Kapittelweg, Laan van Scheut, and other locations). HAN offers associate degree (2-year), bachelor (4-year), and master programmes in domains including technology, health and sport, education, economics and business, and social work and welfare. Master programmes are offered full-time, part-time and dual, and are internationally recognised (MA, MSc, MEd) at EQF level 7. All programmes are accredited under the mandatory Dutch external quality assurance system by NVAO (Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders). HAN is registered in EQAR as DEQARINST1756 and participates in Erasmus+ (code NL ARNHEM27). The institution emphasises practice-oriented research and collaboration with businesses and public organisations.
