Karel de Grote Hogeschool

Karel de Grote Hogeschool (KdG) is a private non-profit institute of higher education (hogeschool) in Antwerp, Belgium, operating under the legal entity Karel de Grote Hogeschool vzw (BE 0458.402.105). Founded in 1995, KdG has grown to 9 campuses in the Antwerp region. The institution offers 39 bachelor and graduate programmes across health care, education, management & IT, sciences & technology, social work, and arts & design (via Campus Sint Lucas Antwerpen). In 2024, KdG counted 2901 graduates. Teaching is primarily in Dutch, with English-taught programmes including International Business Management and Multimedia & Creative Technologies. KdG conducts practice-based scientific research through 6 research centres spanning 20 research domains, collaborating with businesses, organisations and government bodies. Its internationalisation office supports incoming and outgoing student and staff mobility. KdG's mission is to provide inclusive, high-quality education that enables every student to develop their full potential and contribute to society.
