Mary Immaculate College

Mary Immaculate College (MIC), founded in 1898, is a university-level, Catholic College of Education and the Liberal Arts located on South Circular Road, Limerick, Ireland. Academically linked with the University of Limerick since 1991, all university-level programmes (NFQ Levels 6–10) are accredited by UL. MIC is a multi-campus institution with its principal campus in Limerick City and a second campus at St Patrick's Campus, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. The College has grown to a student population of over 5,000, offering 21 undergraduate degree programmes across Primary and Post-Primary Education, Liberal Arts, Psychology, Early Childhood Care and Education, and Climate, Society & Sustainability, as well as over 30 postgraduate programmes from graduate certificate to doctoral level. MIC is a registered charity and a publicly-funded body governed by its Governing Authority (An tÚdarás Rialaithe) under a Scheme of Incorporation. It holds TrustEd Ireland designation and hosts over 500 international students annually, collaborating with more than 60 partner universities across Europe, North America and Australia.
