Overview

Sydney Institute of Business and Technology (SIBT) is a tertiary college in central Sydney, operating since 1997 as part of the Navitas Group. Located at 255 Elizabeth Street, it shares the Sydney City Campus with Western Sydney University. Its Foundation Program prepares students for diploma study, while its six diploma areas are business, communication and creative industries, engineering, health, information technology and social science. Successful diploma study provides pathways to second-year bachelor's study at Western Sydney University, subject to the relevant progression requirements. SIBT supports students through individual academic and maths assistance, academic skills workshops, peer mentoring and personalised learning support. Social activities and mentoring help students settle into campus life. The college serves both domestic and international students.
