UMIT TIROL – Private University For Health Sciences and Health Technology is a state-recognised private university located at Eduard-Wallnöfer-Zentrum 1, 6060 Hall in Tirol, Austria. It was founded in 2001 and was most recently reaccredited by the Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Austria (AQ Austria) in 2023 for a period of five years. UMIT TIROL specialises in health care and technology, offering future-oriented academic programmes for school-leavers and working professionals. Bachelor programmes (6 semesters) are offered in Psychology, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Nursing Science and Business/Health & Sports Tourism. Master programmes (4 semesters) cover Health Care Management, Psychology, Mechatronics, Medical Informatics, Advanced Nursing Practice, Nursing and Health Education, Nursing and Health Management, and Public Health (MPH). The main campus is at Eduard-Wallnöfer-Zentrum in Hall in Tirol; Business, Health & Sports Tourism is offered in Landeck.
