Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) is a public research university founded in Madrid, Spain, and recognised as the country's leading polytechnic higher education institution. UPM comprises 16 Engineering and Architecture Schools, 1 Faculty (Sports Sciences) and 1 affiliated centre (Fashion Design), distributed across four campus areas in Madrid: Moncloa-Ciudad Universitaria, Montegancedo-Boadilla, Campus Sur-Vallecas and Madrid-Ciudad. The university offers official undergraduate (grado), master's (máster universitario) and doctoral programmes, as well as its own proprietary titles (títulos propios) and continuing education.
