LIUC – Università Carlo Cattaneo is a private university in Castellanza (Varese), Lombardy, Italy, founded in 1991. Born from the initiative of Confindustria Varese, it positions itself as 'L'Università delle Imprese per le Imprese' (the University of and for Businesses). The university is organized into two schools: Scuola di Economia e Management and Scuola di Ingegneria Industriale, offering laurea triennale programs in Economia e Management and Ingegneria Gestionale, laurea magistrale programs in Economia, Management e Governance, Ingegneria Gestionale, and a Dual Degree in Business and Engineering, as well as a PhD program in Management, Finance and Accounting and several university master programs through LIUC Business School, including an Executive MBA. LIUC's teaching model emphasizes laboratory-based learning with companies, enterprise projects, and experiential education.
