The University of Suffolk is a modern public university located on the regenerated Ipswich waterfront in Suffolk, England. Originally established as University Campus Suffolk in 2007 in partnership with the University of Essex and University of East Anglia, it gained independent university status in 2016. The university has grown rapidly, climbing 71 places in the Complete University Guide over four years. It offers a broad range of undergraduate, postgraduate taught, and postgraduate research programmes through its two academic schools. Its innovative 'block and blend' teaching method allows students to focus on one module at a time. The university has a thriving international community with students from over 90 countries and offers a range of merit-based international scholarships. On-campus accommodation is available at Athena Hall, with additional accredited off-campus options nearby. The university is committed to civic engagement and has a strong focus on graduate employability, with 92% of graduates in employment or further study 15 months after graduating (Graduate Outcomes 2019-20).
